As for the leather - we both know we've always had a completely different opinion on the quality of my leather. Let me just say two things: 1) you saw my boots, the set I've sent you, 8 months ago. I did work on getting better leather and a better fit over time and now I have AWESOME leather and a 100% stock fit. 2) I've had my boots on the car for almost a year now (and believe me, I use better leather now than I did back then), I've driven at least 20k miles with them on and they're just fine (except for a nasty scratch I put on them when I was screwing around with my stereo, but that's my fault). It's leather, you need to treat it like leather and if you do that they'll be fine. As for stitching - I admit that I used to have problems to get the stitching exactly straight around the top edge of the ebrake boot. Sometimes it would come out a bit sloppy. But there's a good reason - the leather I use is very thick (plus it's folded twice on the top edge of the ebrake boot), that a sewing machine has a really hard time going through those two folds of thick leather. I use slightly different, softer leather now and I don't have that problem anymore.
